Chris works at the intersection of UX, product strategy, and AI — helping organisations move from ideas to validated solutions without getting lost in theory. His background spans digital marketing, product design, and business consulting, with a focus on building things that actually get shipped.

He founded Digital Village and has spent years working with businesses across fintech, SaaS, and complex digital products. His approach is simple: start with a real customer problem, test fast, and measure what matters. Most organisations don't have a problem ideating with AI — they have a problem shipping it. That's the gap Chris works in.

Experts in the Loop grew out of a frustration with AI content that was long on hype and short on substance. Chris wanted conversations with people who had actually built something — founders, operators, and specialists with real scars from real projects.

Mark Monfort

AI & Web3 Builder · Sydney, Australia

Mark is a builder who has been in the AI and Web3 space long before either became a boardroom talking point. He co-founded NotCentralised, an AI and blockchain technology company based in Sydney, and the Australian DeFi Association — organisations built on the belief that new technology should solve real business problems, not just generate press releases.

He also serves as Editor at the Data Science and AI Association of Australia (DSAI), where he works to build knowledge and community around practical AI application. Mark's background spans venture building, product development, and community leadership — which means he brings both the operator's view and the builder's instinct to every conversation.

On Experts in the Loop, Mark is the one who asks the questions most people are thinking but won't say out loud. He cuts through the noise to find what actually works when you're shipping AI in the real world.

Chris and Mark bring different perspectives to the same problems — UX and product strategy on one side, AI infrastructure and community building on the other. That tension is what makes the conversations worth having.
